About this Seminar

Whether you've been teaching remotely for months or you're preparing to for the first time, you know that it comes with a host of challenges and stressors. The reassuring wisdom of this seminar, combined with the concrete techniques offered, can help you take on your classes more calmly and more skillfully.

Background: In the Fall of 2020, Claudia Elliott of Growing with Proficiency invited Justin Slocum Bailey of TeachHuman to share ideas for remote teaching with members of her group. The conversation is now available to TeachHuman Site-Wide Pass members, organized and annotated as the eight shorter videos listed below, and remains valuable as schools continue to serve students with various kinds of remote instruction.

Some of the ideas are specific to world language instruction, but most apply to other subjects as well.
